Weekend freeway closures in Phoenix area

PHOENIX – Closures or lane restrictions for improvement projects are scheduled along several freeways in the Phoenix area this weekend (Friday, Sept 11-Monday, Sept. 14):  

  • NB Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) closed between Interstate 10 and Indian School Road from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14. The east- and westbound I-10 ramps to northbound Loop 101 will also be closed.
  • WB Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) closed between 51st and 75th avenues from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14. The on-ramps at 27th and 35th avenues will also be closed. In addition, the north- and southbound I-17 ramps to westbound Loop 101 will be closed from 3 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 to 5 a.m. Monday Sept 14. The east- and westbound I-17 ramps to northbound I-17 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 2 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
  • NB Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between University Drive and McKellips Road from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14. The on-ramps at Southern Avenue and Broadway Road will also be closed.
  • The WB Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramp to southbound Loop 101 closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
  • WB Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed between Cooper and Alma School roads from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14. The on-ramps at Val Vista Drive, Lindsay and Gilbert roads will also be closed.
  • WB Loop 303 closed at 43rd Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
  • NB State Route 51 closed from Indian School Road to Colter Street (north of Camelback Road) from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
  • State Route 347 narrowed to one lane (both directions) between Casa Blanca Road and Mammoth Way (Cement Plant Road) from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
